Brocade bag

In November/December I felt the need for a wee bag so I could take my small sewing projects around with me, so of course I went to make one. I had a big bag full of Russian orthodox fabric swatches in the most gorgeous brocades,  and went to patchwork them. With linen lining, gold machine thread stitching, and a bag flap made from a side of an old waistcoat, using the buttons from the waistcoat as well, the wee bag didn’t cost me a penny. 🙂
