The waterfall jacket is made from the same Simplicity 2336 pattern from which I’d previously made a black jacket, which can be found on my Burda page. I liked the pattern very much and had this fabric left over from the coat I’d made in 2010 from an original 1950s pattern.
I made the Japanese kitsch print satin coat from a free Burda download pattern, which I can’t find on the site anymore. It was actually a dress, but I turned it into a coat. I liked the funky fabric and didn’t want to make anything that would obscure the pattern.
